Which colors look best on custom cycling clothing?
When it comes to creating your own cycling kit, the possibilities are truly endless. You can opt for something creative with all the colors of the rainbow or go for a more stylish look with a basic color scheme. But what colors can you actually choose from? And which color combinations are most popular? Today, in this blog, we’ll discuss everything about which colors look best on custom cycling clothing.
What colors can I choose from?
There are countless colors available for your cycling kit, which means we can almost always match the colors of a logo perfectly. Naturally, you want a kit where the logo is beautifully integrated.
If you have the color codes of your logo, we can precisely match them. Don’t have them? No worries! We can match your colors with a color code and then create a test print to confirm the color.
Can you really choose anything?
Well, almost anything! The only thing we need to consider is the cycling shorts. The panel on the inside of the legs is made of polyamide fabric, which is the case for all high-quality cycling shorts. Unfortunately, this fabric can’t be printed in every color, so we usually opt for black. While it’s possible to change this part’s color, it means using polyester, which wears out faster, showing signs of wear after just a few rides.
Which colors should I be cautious about?
I have to admit that white cycling clothing can look absolutely stunning. However, white is quite prone to stains, making it not the best choice for mountain biking or rainy days. If you’re good at washing and cycle in dry weather, white can work just fine!

What color combinations do we often see?
Generally, cyclists prefer a black or dark-colored shorts for three main reasons:
Black shorts pair well with any color shirt. Stains are less visible on dark-colored shorts. Black shorts complement the black polyamide in the middle of the shorts. As for cycling shirts, many cyclists opt for a basic color, often adding a few subtle accents. Ultimately, it’s a matter of preference for you and your team.
