A unique insight into the production process of TD Sportswear

The technique that TD Sportswear uses is called sublimation. This is a printing technique that allows for an enormous amount of detail. By means of a heat press the standard clothing is printed. The heat causes the polyester fibres to open up, so that the ink (which has now evaporated due to the heat) bonds with the fibres. This makes it impossible to remove the print from the fabric (which ensures that the clothing has a gigantic lifespan!). With this technique, literally every color (3 million!), shape and logo can be printed. You really notice this when you see the clothes, the colors are not printed temporarily, it’s all in the fibers.
